Afraid of embracing your natural black curly hair? You are not Alone. Here is my story MY STORY I must admit that i felt a bit strange and naked on my head the moment i removed my extentions. So it took me a while to get used to my new look. At times i would wake up in the morning and just wasn't sure if i had taken right choice by going natural. I actually decided all this one night when the family slept. And when my husband woke up the next day, he looked at me and said, "hi beautiful", like nothing had changed, and that melted my heart, he preferred my african hair. He preferred the real me! What a relief, what a big bag of confidence he gave right there! At work I dreaded going to work, because i feared the reaction. It immensely irritated me that i was scared of being seen with my natural hair. When monday came, i rushed to work, and i for once felt lucky that we use hair nets for hygiene reasons at work....
